Occupational Therapists (OTs) are health professionals trained in medical and behavioral sciences including neurology, anatomy, sociology and psychology. The goal of an occupational therapist is to break down the barriers which hold back individuals in their everyday activities. They examine the physical and cognitive effects of an injury or disease, along with possible psycho-social, community and environmental factors that influence function.
Living Strength Occupational Therapy has been providing occupational therapy services on the Central Coast and Sydney since 2007. Our Occupational Therapists are passionate about helping you achieve maximum independence with your daily tasks in your home environment, community and / or facility. Our Occupational Therapist’s are flexible and services provided by Living Strength are done in the convenience and comfort of your own home or facility at a time that suits you.
Our Occupational Therapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Occupational Therapy Australia (OTAUS) and Medicare. All our therapists are friendly, outgoing and deliver a warm, professional service to meet individual needs. They take pride in their profession abiding by the Code of Conduct and utilise the latest research and technologies in our field to assess and design rehabilitation programs that are evidenced based, efficient and effective. Our service goal is developed through a client centered approach aimed at assessing the client’ safety whilst increasing the client’s independence and ensuring they achieve quality of life
