Meet Cassie

Cassie –  Occupational Therapist

Our Living Strength Occupational Therapy team is made up of some great people. We wanted to take a little time out to find out more about Cassie!

Cassie, what is your role within Living Strength?

As a Community Occupational Therapist, I assess people’s mobility and function in everyday tasks. I am able to recommend specialist equipment (wheelchairs, seating, daily living aids) and home modifications to help increase and maintain independence in daily living.

What made you look into a career in Occupational Therapy?

My mother is an Occupational Therapist, you could say it runs in my blood. I hope to one day work alongside her!

What do you think is the best part of your daily job?

I get to help and make a difference to peoples lives! My highlight is always the fact that I am able to witness people with disabilities achieve their goals.

We are passionate about helping our clients achieve more independence, better health and greater quality of life. We understand that being able to perform the everyday tasks can be life-changing so we tailor our services to each patient’s individual needs.

As Occupational Therapists (OTs), we are trained in a broad range of health sciences in order to deliver a holistic approach to patient care. Understanding the client first, their culture, family and values, along with their medical needs, is essential in creating a detailed plan for real quality of life.

If you would like to book in some time to see if we can support you through wonderful OTs like Sophie – please click here and speak to one of our friendly team.
