Barbara Luka BAppSc (OT) / Director
Barbara Luka is an accredited Occupational Therapist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Register Agency (AHPRA), Medicare Australia, and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA).
Barbara graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from the University of Western Sydney in 2001 and later completed her Certificate IV in Assessment and Training.
Barbara obtained her clinical experience working across various of fields and settings. This includes the Workers Compensation Scheme, Comcare Scheme, NSW Motor Accident Authority Scheme, and Life Insurance. Later, she developed her own private practice, offering comprehensive Occupational Therapy services that address disabilities, paediatric requirements, and aged care.
With extensive experience, Barbara has provided services to clients with diverse needs, including:
- Neurological conditions
- Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Psychological and mental health injuries, including physical and intellectual disabilities
- Pain management
- Palliative care
Barbara has a strong interest in evidence-based practice, and her team of Occupational Therapists take pride in their profession. Their passion for client-centred approaches to occupational therapy is evident in their holistic interaction with people, resulting in high-quality and sustainable solutions for each client.
